The location of the hotel is both a strength and a weakness. It’s centrally located for sightseeing but it’s also close to restaurants that are sources of noise. Otherwise, it’s a decent property that has a lot going for it. The room that we had was comfortable, if a bit dated with its furnishing. The room itself was reasonably sized but I found the bathroom a tad narrow. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection that more than served our needs.

A wonderful 3 star hotel in the best location in Bologna! I had a small single room for myself, but I think the bed was 120 cm wide and therefore more than enough. The room was newly renovated and very clean, as was the bathroom with its small shower. There was a cooling minibar and air conditioning in the room, absolutely perfect. Despite the street in front of the room, I slept perfectly, the insulation of the windows is excellent. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, I felt very welcome. The morning meal was very good, there was everything you could wish for, including meat and cheese, fresh vegetables, yoghurt and of course sweets. Perfect. Next time I am in Bologna, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Accademia again.

Excellent hotel for the price and location. Alessandra at reception was the best! She went above and beyond to assist us with setting up transportation multiple times and was so kind and helpful with all our needs. The club rooms were new and comfortable. Everyone we met at reception was helpful and friendly including housekeeping. Walking distance to all historic sites and restaurants. We will be returning in future.

A very comfortable hotel in a very convenient location for visiting the main tourist sites in Bologna at a very reasonable cost. Our room was ideal for our one night stay but if staying longer you might want a larger room. There are lots of restaurants within less than ten minutes on foot and you will be spoilt for choice. Recommended for a visit to this lovely city.

Parking 🚗: Safe the 25€ / night and and get the 9€ ticket to park outside, usually you find a place. Dog 🐕 owners: We brought our dog and sure I know that sometimes additional costs apply but they just told me that, if I would have known that you pay additional 21€ for extra cleaning for dog owner (apart from the costs for our dog for the night) Additional Costs: 55€ (parking, dog, extra cleaning and local tax) ADDITIONAL ANSWER to the Hotels response: Yes, we were informed after booking (cancelling was not possible due to last minute) about the follwing: Private parking is possible on site (places are limited and reservation of parking space is subject to confirmation by us) and cost is € 25/day. Otherwise it is possible to buy at the reception the municipality permit to park on the street's blue lines, the cost is Euro 9.00/24 hours. Do not forget city tax is not included and will have to be settled upon departure. For the dog, you must pay € 20,00 for the cleaning and sanification. We remember you that: - the dog can not go in the breakfast room - don't leave the dog alone in the room. Best regards
